For all patients referred to us with complex cancer cases, their medical files are reviewed by a multidisciplinary team known as the “Tumor Board.”
This board includes specialists in internal medicine, surgery, clinical pathology, radiology, pathology, anesthesiology, and radiation oncology, who collaboratively discuss each case, analyze all diagnostic and therapeutic angles, and formulate the most suitable treatment plan.

As a result, the final decision is not based on the opinion of a single specialist, but rather a collective consensus built upon diverse expertise and a comprehensive understanding of the disease. This approach significantly enhances the likelihood of a better outcome.

We are proud to be the first veterinary center in the region to offer advanced services such as radiotherapy for cancer patients—thanks to our high volume of oncology cases and collaboration with leading human medical institutions. This is a unique achievement in the Middle East.

Our experienced oncology specialists have also completed training comparable to that of human medical oncologists, enabling them to provide the safest and most effective treatment protocols for your beloved pet.

We have also taken concrete steps to address treatment challenges, such as ensuring the availability of rare or hard-to-find medications and protecting against counterfeit drugs—so that pet guardians already facing the emotional burden of illness won’t be burdened with additional worries.

We sincerely urge you:
Before giving up hope and considering euthanasia for your pet with cancer, consult with our oncology specialists.
Many cancers today are treatable or manageable, and euthanasia may not be the only option.

Frequently Questions

How do you know if cancer has spread to other parts of the body?
There are several methods used to assess the spread of cancer, including chest radiography, abdominal ultrasound, lymph node biopsy, and CT scanning.
What is the purpose of chemotherapy in my pet?
Sometimes, chemotherapy is used to shrink a tumor before surgery, making it easier to remove. Other times, it is used to prevent the spread of cancer or to eliminate any remaining cancer cells after surgery.
Will my pet experience severe side effects from chemotherapy like humans do?
Generally, this is not the case because, unlike humans—where the goal is to extend lifespan—in animals, the primary aim is to improve quality of life.
How can I tell if the treatments for my pet’s cancer are effective?
Periodic examinations and measurement of tumor or lymph node size, along with imaging such as X-rays, laboratory tests, ultrasounds, or CT scans, are sometimes used to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
