The Third National Congress of Companion Animal Medicine was held by the Iranian Veterinary Association with the support and presence of governmental and academic organizations from October 3 to 5, 2019 (Mehr 11–13, 1398) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran.
This congress welcomed researchers, professors, veterinarians, experts, and students in veterinary and animal sciences, focusing on diseases, health, and nutrition of companion animals—those that have existed alongside humans since the beginning of creation. Emphasis was placed on modern methods of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases in horses, small animals (dogs and cats), exotic animals, birds, and ornamental fish.
Alongside the congress, an exhibition was also held to showcase the capabilities and services of related companies.
