The World Rabies Conference was held on September 28, coinciding with Mehr 6th, by Dr. Omid Moradi, the head of the Central Veterinary Hospital, and with the presence of guests from the veterinary system of Tehran Province, the Veterinary Organization, the Ministry of Health, the Pasteur Institute, and professors of the University of Medical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at the Shahid Rajaei Conference Hall of the Tehran Heart Hotel .

In this conference, figures such as Louis Nel, a professor at the University of Pretoria and head of the Global Rabies Management Consortium (GARC) and Dr. Rouzbeh Bashar, head of the WHO Rabies Reference Center and Research Department of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, were present and discussed the situation of the disease. Rabies in Iran and the world and took necessary measures to manage this disease.
